Branding Your Real Estate Investing Business

As you probably know already, real estate is not just the housing business, you are in the business of people. Since you are dealing with tons of people you want to create an image for your company. This image is your brand. A brand is a name, symbol, or design that differentiates you from your competition. It creates a clear idea of what your business is all about and why people should choose you over your competition.

Without a brand, you just blend in with the rest. Without a brand, you are just another one in the bunch. People have nothing to decipher why you are different than anyone else. Once you establish your brand, people will know what you are all about and you can start attracting and holding onto your particular audience.

Logo

Your logo is any image that represents your business. It can be whatever you want it to be as long as it represents your business. This establishes a physical image that people can relate to your brand. You want people to be able to see your logo and know exactly who it is for.

Website

Your website is your virtual storefront. In this business it is usually not cost effective to have a physical store. Because of this you MUST have a website. Your website will be a place where anyone can find you on the internet and see what you do. Your website must coincide with your brand. You should use the same color schemes on your logo and give people as much information as possible that will help them better understand your business and what your brand is all about.

Business Cards

A business card helps people remember you that you meet at meetings, networking events, in the field, or just in everyday life. People nowadays are so preoccupied that after you meet them there is a good chance they will forget your name, email, phone number, or website etc. A business card solves this problem. It is a little card that can fit in your wallet and provides anyone you meet with all of these things so if they forget something, they have the card to go back and refer to.

Social Media

Social media is how you stay connected with your audience and how you keep them updated. Between all of the platforms you are able to provide your audience with all different types of content that match your brand and keeps your audience interested. You should be using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, and YouTube

Slogan

A slogan is a short, one or two sentence phrase that sums up what your brand is all about. This is different than your mission statement. A mission statement is longer and goes into detail about your company. A slogan is short, to the point, and should be catchy. For example, at Revival Property Group our slogan is "Real Estate Solutions At Your Convenience" This slogan is short, catchy, and represents what our brand is all about. We provide real estate solutions, and we put the customers needs first.

Brand Consistency

After establishing all of this you have to make sure to stick to your purpose and be consistent with your branding. Being inconsistent with your brand is just as bad, and maybe even a little worse than not having a brand at all. If you are not consistent then you will confuse your audience and they will start moving towards your competition.

    HI~

I want to thank you for your reaching out to me, I am reaching my first anniversary with FB and you are the first group of FB members to reach out!!! And all the way from the other side of the country…!
I joined FB with high hopes of a life time coach to strategize with…. each one has lasted about two sessions and disappeared into the wind…
Talking with our class as a whole we feel FB just took our money with a song and dance and high hopes… then like the fall leaves they disappeared under the snow…
Don’t get me wrong I’ve been waiting all my construction career 35 years from residential to hospitals to start this dream… AND I’m just getting traction, just completing my fourth flip, two are on the market and one sold the day after I signed with FB>>>>
Again thanks and I look forward to scouring your blog of knowledge .
    Respectfully
    Brooke~
