HOW TO STAY ON TRACK WITH YOUR GOALS

Goals

Goals are extremely important in life and in business. Without goals, your business will have no future. Without goals, there is nothing that you are working towards. Brian Tracy states in his book GOALS that “a goal must be specific, concrete, and tangible and something that you can clearly visualize and imagine in your mind.” You do not want to set unrealistic goals, you must set goals that you know you can achieve. If not, this will just lead to failure and disappointment. Don’t just think about your goals, write them down and review them every day. Make sure every single day you are one step closer to achieving these goals.

Planner 

Using a daily planner can help you stay on track with your goals. A planner is a book that has different sections containing pages for calendars, journal writing, goal setting, notes, vision boards and much more. It is called a DAILY planner for a reason, you should use it EVERY DAY! This planner will help you be your own boss. Writing out your daily tasks that need to be done will help achieve the goals that you already set. These are YOUR goals so only you can decide how to make them possible. Without a daily planner, ideas get lost, tasks get forgotten about and your goals get delayed or never completed. My Law of Attraction Planner is the only thing that keeps me on track every day. Having all of this in one physical book that I can read and look over every day is what leads to the success of my goals. Before using this planner, I was disorganized, and never achieved my goals on time (or never at all)

 

Your Motivation

You need to make sure that the team you have surrounding you is supportive and provides you with something called “brain food.” Brain food is extremely important. It is when someone gives you a verbal reward for achieving a goal or task. A simple good job or a high five can make you feel good about your accomplishment and give it meaning. This will lead to increasing your motivation to achieve your other goals. When it comes to bigger goals do not be afraid to celebrate them once achieved. A reward is the greatest motivation you can give a person so be sure to have a team that rewards you for your goals and provides brain food. More importantly, make sure you are rewarding and providing brain food for your team. It works both ways so if you are not rewarding your team for their hard work then they will be less motivated to work on a goal in the future.
