The Truth About Flipping Houses

Not like TV

Just a little tip. Television makes everything so easy and perfect. It actually is a very long, and difficult process. If you do not know what you are doing or if you aren't on top of every detail, every aspect of the way, then it can lead to a huge disaster.

Personal Fulfillment

Flipping houses is something that is extremely fulfilling. It is not like a normal job where you just do the same task every day for the same salary. This is not a job at all, it is a lifestyle. Every day when you wake up you have to be focused and ready for new tasks, adventures, and opportunities.

There are hundreds of moving parts so there is something always bound to go wrong, or something unexpected to happen whether it is good or bad. You always have to be prepared. Overcoming all of these tasks gives you constant fulfillment every day. It gives you a sense of pride to know that you are overcoming these obstacles day by day.

Some of your tasks include finding properties, getting funds together, marketing your services, actually doing the work for the house or scheduling your crews, and selling the home.

Improve Neighborhoods

Not only are you improving a house but you are also rejuvenating the neighborhood. Driving up the price of the house drives up the price of the overall neighborhood. This is good for anyone in the neighborhood who plans on selling their house.

The main impact you have is with the neighbors close by. In most cases, people do not like to live next to a home that is distressed or neglected. Especially if there home is well taken care of. It takes away from the pride you have on your own property when next door is a distressed home.

Change Lives

And finally the buyer. Think about it ... Buying a home is not like going to the store and buying groceries. It's not even like buying a new car (which is a big purchase). A home is the biggest purchase of your life. The place where you sleep, go to after work, and raise your family. It is a huge decision. You as the investor flip a house, then go onto the next one, and the next one and so on. But the people that you sell the home to may stay there for the rest of there lives. A place where families will be raised. Everything is influenced by where you live. If you live one town over, your kids will go to different schools, and meet different friends. Everyone's life will be different.

The point of telling you this is it's not just your average job. You need to take pride in the work you do, and you need to go the extra mile for these people.

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT MAKING MONEY! :)

That's why at Revival we make sure that our homes are completely move in ready when we say they are. So you can just move in and not have to lay a finger on it. Completely turnkey.
